Daylight Educational Trust
Daylight Educational & Charitable Trust is a dedicated organization committed to making higher education accessible to financially disadvantaged students. Inspired by the visionary dreams of Swami Vivekananda and former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, the Trust focuses on empowering students who can afford accommodation and examination fees but struggle with the financial burden of hefty college tuition. By assuming the responsibility for their college fees, the Trust plays a pivotal role in turning their academic aspirations into reality.
The Trust aims to improve India’s Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER), contributing to the nation’s progress toward becoming a developed country. With a belief in education that shapes character, enhances intellectual capabilities, and fosters self-reliance, the Trust seeks to fulfill Swami Vivekananda’s vision of a well-rounded education. Additionally, following Dr. Kalam’s teachings, the Trust embodies the idea that while blackboards may symbolize challenges, they ultimately illuminate the lives of students.
